The day I met Luke, I knew he was special. You would think I’d say that because the day we met he was dressed as Doctor Shots for Halloween, but that’s not all I saw that day. Instantly, I was captivated by how personable he was. The way he could get along with anybody. The way he could make you feel at home, even if you just met him. Luke’s different than anyone else I’ve ever met. He wants to get to know people. He wants to get to know the world. I don’t know what the future holds for Luke, but I know that it’s going to be bright. I only wish he could see what I see. What everyone around him knows. Luke's an old soul that speaks an all but forgotten language. Past the jokes that brings out the genuine laughter in all of us, Luke has a huge heart. There's nothing that he won't do for the people that he loves. He makes everyone feel like they have a place at the table. He brings people together, and creates a family. Luke has changed me in so many ways. I will always mean this; Luke Thornton is going to change the world someday, and I don’t think he even knows it yet.
