HI BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

A little bit about me...

My name is Marlaina Kent, and I am twenty years old. I'm incredibly blessed to say that I’m born and raised in San Diego, California. I'm a senior this year at San Diego State University studying Social Work, and I hope to obtain my Master's in Psychology after undergrad. 

Life has always consumed and captivated me. There is no amount of money I won’t spend for an experience & no shift too long for me to not go have a good time after. Possessing a deep love for life and the people in it is my nature. From skydiving, to festivals, swimming beneath waterfalls and floating down rivers, and traveling, I’ve been blessed to live a beautiful life. Above that, my family and friends are my whole world. Each and every one of them bring a unique and personal perspective to my life, and I love them for it. I don’t know what I did right to deserve these people in my life, but whatever it may be, I’m so glad I did it.

Through certain high and lows in my life, I’ve also developed an indescribable love for writing. Something about me, a pen, and a piece of paper just makes sense. I find myself lost in the words I write.

So, that’s what this is; me sharing a huge piece of my heart with the world. I hope to publish one if not several books some day, and this is the start of that.

I’m filled with nothing but gratitude for the life I’ve been blessed to live, and hope to give back a little bit of the beauty I’ve been blessed with to the world.

I genuinely believe that if you look for beauty, you will always find it. My motto is, simply let all you do, be do in love.
